Damian Coleman Visual Solutions Ltd. t/a Damian Coleman Photography is responsible for personal data processed in connection with the delivery and management of client galleries.

Information we may collect

Depending on how a gallery is used, we may process information such as your name, email address, gallery access information, photographs, favourites, notes, download activity and other information that you voluntarily provide to us.

Technical information may also be processed by our gallery service provider, Pixieset, when you access a gallery. This may include information such as IP address, browser and device information and information relating to your interaction with the gallery.

Why we process your information

We use personal data where necessary to:

• provide and manage your photography gallery;

• provide access to and delivery of photographs and other agreed content;

• communicate with you regarding your gallery or photography services;

• manage selections, favourites, notes and downloads where these features are used;

• maintain the security and functionality of our services;

• meet our legal and contractual obligations; and

• protect our legitimate business interests.

Where processing requires your consent, we will ask for consent where appropriate. You may withdraw consent where applicable.

Photography and personal data

Photographs may contain identifiable individuals and may therefore constitute personal data in certain circumstances. The use and distribution of photographs is subject to the agreed purpose, contract and usage rights applicable to the photography service.

Service providers

Client galleries are hosted and delivered using Pixieset. Pixieset processes information on behalf of photographers using its services and provides GDPR-related contractual documentation for its users. Pixieset Help Center

How long we retain information

We retain personal information and gallery content for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the agreed service, meet contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes and maintain appropriate business records. Gallery availability may vary depending on the service and arrangements agreed with the client.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, as well as other rights provided under data protection legislation.
